  • European-Based Fleet to Provide Point-to-Point Travel Capability within Europe
  • Aircraft to Feature Handcrafted, Uniquely Designed Custom Interiors

Geneva, Switzerland – May 24, 2016– Nextant Aerospace which makes the 400XTi – the world’s only remanufactured business jet, announced today that Flexjet has selected the Nextant 400XTi aircraft as the light jet selection for its newly announced European operation.

In an earlier statement at EBACE 2016, Flexjet announced plans to acquire an existing European operating certificate and intends to make the first XTi aircraft operational by year’s end.

“The 400XTi is uniquely positioned to serve the European market,” stated Raymond Jones, FlexJet’s Managing Director, International. “The aircraft effortlessly provides point to point range across Europe necessary to join the most traveled city pairs, with exceptionally low operating costs and arguably the most comfortable cabin in the light jet market. This combination makes it an ideal solution to launch our European based operation.”

With its 2,003 nautical mile range, the 400XTi can make trips from London to Moscow; Moscow to Nice and Nice to London again. In addition, Nextant has situated service centers around the world to keep these jets well maintained no matter where they are. Soon, Nextant will be partnering with a European-based company to further expand service centers.

“We have always believed the 400XTi was a perfect aircraft for Europe,” stated Jay Heublein, Executive Vice President for Nextant Aerospace. “Flexjet brings a long standing record of operational excellence, and we look forward to working with them on this new endeavor.”

The fleet will feature a custom designed interior which will offer the most leg room in the club seating area of any light jet. Each hand-crafted Flexjet Nextant 400XTi will also include a complete refreshment center, fully enclosed aft lavatory, a 3-place divan and Wi-Fi connectivity to ensure non-stop productivity.
