Nextant Aerospace To Showcase Enhanced Model Lineup At EBACE

• Nextant will display the 400XTi outside the Nextant VIP Chalet and will preview the GE-powered G90XT turboprop

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND, May 6, 2014 – Nextant Aerospace (“Nextant”), maker of the Nextant 400XTi – the world’s only remanufactured business jet – and the forthcoming G90XT turboprop, today announced it would participate in the European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (EBACE) taking place May 20-22, 2013 at Geneva International Airport. The company will display its revolutionary 400XTi light jet at Static 145 and showcase its upcoming G90XT turboprop.

Demonstrated Global Acceptance

After just two years of production, the Nextant 400XTi light jet is already earning a worldwide reputation for economy, reliability, comfort and performance. Over 20% of the global Beechjet 400A/Hawker 400XP fleet is already committed to Nextant remanufacturing. More than 40 aircraft have been delivered to customers on five continents and the fleet recently surpassed the 25,000-hour milestone. Much of this success is due to the worldwide customer support infrastructure, which has achieved an average global AOG Return to Service time of under nine hours.

Remanufacturing: a Proven Concept Applied to Aerospace

Although relatively new to aerospace, remanufacturing is a proven concept. The commercial, technical and environmental advantages of a cyclical product process are shaping the future across a swath of industries from healthcare equipment and cars to electrical goods and furniture. Industry icons like General Electric, Caterpillar and Volvo are already realizing its value. In the US alone, remanufacturing is a $50 billion industry employing 180,000 workers. Nextant’s remanufacturing process was planned and implemented by operators with decades of fleet experience who know what it takes to fly business jets profitably. It combines the rugged reliability of highly successful business aircraft with the latest technology in engines, avionics and cabin comfort to create a new aircraft that will match or outclass comparable new aircraft for half the purchase price. The aircraft is rebuilt to a standard that earns FAA and EASA approval, a new production number and its own listing in Blue Book.

What’s Next: G90XT Update

At EBACE, the company will provide an update on the King Air-derived G90XT, a versatile turboprop, powered by new-generation GE H75 engines and with advanced technology from single-lever thrust management to the latest Garmin glass cockpit, hand-crafted cabin and aerodynamic refinements.

“The next step in our journey is to apply the same FAA and EASA-approved process to a whole spectrum of products starting with the GE-engined Nextant G90XT which is currently under development,” said Mr. McGeough. “Deliveries of the new model are on track for year end and with a global pool of potentially 1,500 suitable airframes we anticipate a busy production run.”
